Leinfelden-Echterdingen/Hanover – Daimler Truck Financial Services (DTFS) is presenting integrated service offerings for emission-free transport at the 2024 International Motor Show (IAA) in Hanover. The focus is on the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, the first all-electric truck for long distances. DTFS accompanies customers on the path to sustainable transport with tailor-made service packages that include financing, insurance, and financing of charging infrastructure.
In addition to classic leasing, the range also includes the integrated Service Leasing product, which includes vehicle leasing, the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Complete service contract, and the digital service Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime. During the lifespan of the vehicle, the customer pays a fixed monthly instalment, and the residual value is guaranteed. There are no unforeseen costs, the eActros 600 has minimal downtime and is always well maintained. This allows customers to concentrate on their core business.
“Our mission is to work with Daimler Truck to make the transition to sustainable transport as easy as possible for our customers,” says Stephan Unger, CEO of Daimler Truck Financial Services. “We offer attractive financing products to facilitate the use of electric vehicles. With our integrated service bundles from a single source, our customers can focus on their core business while we take care of the details.”
Under the new brand "TruckCharge", Daimler Truck combines its offers around e-infrastructure and the charging of electric trucks, i.e. consulting and infrastructure as well as operation of the electrified depot for freight forwarders but also industrial companies. The range of services for so-called "Depot Charging" includes consulting, the sale of hardware and technical service, as well as financing solutions via Daimler Truck Financial Services for the charging infrastructure. In addition, partners qualified by Daimler Truck can take over the installation on request. The aim is to ensure a smooth charging process and high vehicle availability. The first pilot projects have already been launched in Germany at various retailers, the rollout is currently underway and other European countries are to be added gradually.
"Together, we are shaping the transformation of the transport sector and focusing on integrated service bundles that make it as easy as possible for our customers to switch to electric vehicles," emphasizes Stephan Unger.
