Sustainability at Daimler Truck

As a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, our goal is to develop sustainable and thus future-orientated transport solutions for the movement of goods and passengers. We take the associated responsibility for our employees, for the environment and for society as a whole very seriously - and view sustainability holistically as an integral part of our core business and our corporate behavior.

The framework we have set for our responsible actions is ESG. Accordingly, we focus on the three topics of "Environment," "Social," and "Governance”.

What does that mean? We want to contribute to the fight against climate change - the most important levers for this are our products, our production and our supply chain. We want to be a responsible part of our society, a company that people like to deal with and work for. A company that people can trust. And we want to reinforce this commitment to the environment and society with strong corporate governance.

Furthermore, the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (“SDGs”) guide our commitment to sustainable development and respect for human rights. Moreover, with our participation in the United Nations Global Compact, we are committed to support human rights, respect the rights of employees and their representatives, and protect the environment.
