Stuttgart / Vilnius. Lithuanian company Vilneda Uab has taken delivery of nine Setra touring coaches in Vilnius. The eight ComfortClass vehicles and one S 431 DT double-decker bus form part of an order for a total of 32 units. The nine touring coaches are to be leased out to various tour operators in the three Baltic countries of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, as well as in western Europe and Scandinavia. Tautvydas Zilinskas has a simple explanation as to why the company has opted for Setra: "Setra is the most cutting-edge touring coach on the market," says Vilneda's CEO, citing the brand's good image in addition to the vehicles' travel comfort, reliability, design and low fuel consumption. Established in 1995, the company has been a Setra business partner since 2007. Vilneda took delivery of its first Setra ComfortClass vehicle in 2013, in the guise of an S 515 HD which was put into service in Lithuania.
