Two TopClass S 516 HDH with 2+1 seating for Neubauer Touristik
The two TopClass coaches for Neubauer Touristik are each equipped with 2+1 seating, on-board kitchen and a TopSky Panorama glass roof. “Thanks to the generous arrangement of a total of 30 seats, we can offer our passengers significantly more space and privacy on trips,” says Managing Director Oliver Gröpper.
The latest driver assistance and safety systems currently offered by the brand ensure the greatest possible protection for passengers. This also includes Active Drive Assist 2 (ADA 2). The system supports drivers to better maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front and stay in lane.
Neubauer Touristik, which is based in Flensburg, includes the brands Globetrotter Reisen, Vagabund and Ski-Tours. The two Setra coaches are mainly used for long round trips throughout Europe as part of their own touring programme.
Founded in 1953 and now run by the third generation, the family-owned company offers an extensive programme, including exclusive city trips, short trips to areas of outstanding natural beauty, classic tours with visits to famous opera houses and ski holidays in the Alps.
A few months ago, the company opened a new coach centre with an exclusive customer lounge at its headquarters in order to improve customer service before the trip even starts.
Reisedienst Bölck upgrades to 15 Setra coaches
5-star equipment, TopSky Panorama glass roof and a modern camera mirror system. With its new S 516 HDH, Reisedienst Bölck can offer its passengers relaxed and safe journeys throughout Europe.
In addition to a host of driver assistance and safety systems, the 44‑seater three-axle Setra TopClass also has the innovative MirrorCam on board. The system transmits the images from the heated cameras to 15inch monitors on the A-pillars. Superimposed lines indicate the end of the vehicle and help the driver estimate the speed of approaching vehicles as well as move back into lane after overtaking. An additional camera shows a view of the front corner on the kerb side.
Schleswig-Holstein-based Bölck travel service has been a Setra customer since the 300 series and offers day trips as well as cycling and long-distance trips throughout Europe. With the new S 516 HDH, the family-owned company managed by Heidi, Mathias and Rüdiger Bölck, now has 15 coaches in operation from the Neu-Ulm premium brand.
Blitz-Reisen continues to rely on Setra TopClass coaches
BlitzReisen from Overath cements its loyalty to Setra with two new S 517 HDH. The company from North RhineWestphalia has been relying exclusively on the brand’s premium coaches for over 30 years and has a total of nine TopClass coaches in use.
The driver and safety assistance systems meet the standards of the updated EU safety directive “General Safety Regulation” (GSR-B). The three-axle vehicles also have the innovative MirrorCam on board.
The S 517 HDH are each equipped with 50 seats and a TopSky Panorama glass roof and are powered by OM 471 engines rated at 350 kW (476 hp) in conjunction with the GO 250-8 MPS fully automated manual transmission.
Blitz-Reisen, founded in 1986, has been a partner of the Setra brand since 1992 and offers trips throughout Europe as part of its own tourism programme. After about six years, the vehicles will be replaced by new Setra TopClass coaches.
