Omniplus On: Four pillars of maximum availability, fleet management, driver support, and spare parts sales
The digital services portal Omniplus On is based on four interconnected pillars: "Omniplus On advance" guarantees maximum fleet availability to bus companies. "Omniplus On monitor" combines telematics services for efficiently managing fleets from different manufacturers. "Omniplus On drive" provides the driver with effective support. "Omniplus On commerce" offers bus companies round-the-clock access to digital purchase management systems for spare parts, services, and vehicles.
Omniplus On commerce: The online sales platform for everything related to buses
The Omniplus eShop in the "On commerce" area offers the entire parts portfolio for the Mercedes-Benz and Setra brands. In addition, if the system already knows the customer’s individual fleet because it has been added to the Omniplus On customer portal, matching parts for the selected vehicle will be shown to the customer in the Quick Collect section. Model-specific fixed-price packages for spare parts are now available on the eShop. Advanced algorithms from the Omniplus On Portal will help the eShop become even smarter in the future.
When bus companies save their fleet to the system as required, they will immediately be shown suitable spare parts for their vehicles. With just one click, users will know whether the desired parts are available at their service center.
It will also be possible to directly purchase digital services online, for example, Omniplus Uptime or Omniplus On data packages. In StockFinder, the customer can immediately see all stock vehicles across Europe, use filters to search for the right stock vehicle directly, and get a quote.
Vehicle data interfaces with Omniplus On data packages – connection to third-party systems
With its enhanced virtual data interfaces, Daimler Buses has made vehicle data on the Daimler Buses Cloud usable by third-party applications through a specific API (Application Programming Interface). This includes fault codes and diagnostic logs. The Bus Data Center is required to use the specified data packages. This service is installed as standard in all touring coaches and city buses as well as the all-electric Mercedes-Benz eCitaro.
New version of Omniplus On Uptime will be presented at InnoTrans trade fair
The enhanced "Omplus Plus On Uptime pro" service provides real-time transparency on the technical condition of your fleet, thus enabling you to significantly increase your vehicle availability. "Omniplus On Uptime pro" uses state-of-the-art telemetry technologies to process system-specific vehicle data. This service is perfectly tailored to large fleets with their own workshops and to the needs of these fleets.
Omniplus all-round services
With more than 600 outlets, Omniplus offers the densest service network for buses in Europe. The Omniplus ServiceCard is the ticket to this service network and is available as ServiceCard Premium and ServiceCard Basic. Customized service contracts mean your fleet is kept in optimal technical condition at fixed calculable costs.
Daimler Buses is a pioneer in industrial 3D printing. Omniplus’s continuously expanded digital warehouse forms the basis for 3D printing license management, which further optimizes the rapid availability of spare parts. 3D printers make it possible to set up external mini-factories. Omniplus customers with suitable licenses can now have required parts produced locally at certified 3D printing centers.
Further training for drivers and workshop employees – even for high voltage work on the fully electric Mercedes-Benz eCitaro – round out the Omniplus services.
BusStore: Customized used buses
BusStore combines all Mercedes-Benz and Setra activities related to used buses. BusStore features a unique vehicle pool with several hundred used buses throughout Europe, as well as services ranging from careful testing and reconditioning of used buses to transparent classification, warranties, and services. BusStore is now represented at 26 locations in Europe.
