KG is upgrading its fleet with an S 515 HDH. “With only 34 seats, we offer our passengers great freedom of movement and total comfort,” said Avanti Managing Director Hans-Peter Christoph when he picked up the company's new vehicle in Neu-Ulm.

The Setra TopClass 5-Star Superior touring coach bears the new family face of the brand with bright, full-LED headlamps.

High levels of safety are also ensured by Active Drive Assist 2, enabling semi-automated driving at all ranges of speed. The Setra touring coach is also equipped with an emergency stop function that automatically brings the vehicle to a standstill by means of moderate braking if the driver is not reacting.

The centrepiece of the touring coach is the OM 471 six-cylinder in-line engine with 375 kW (508 hp), which has been linked to the fully automated GO 250–8 MPS 8-speed manual transmission.

Having already organised trips in Setra touring coaches along the Silk Road to China and on the Panamericana highway to Tierra del Fuego, the Freiburg-based tour operator currently operates five touring coaches made by the premium brand from Ulm.
