The time has come, the 2018 Drivers’ League for fleets and drivers is starting. The best three drivers and best three fleets can look forward to superb prizes, for example tickets for motorsport events or a match with the national football team. In addition, for the first time, there is an exciting competition for the world championship this year. This will not be decided by penalties, free kicks or offsides, but purely by the driving style rating in the Fleetboard operating analysis. This encourages truck drivers to drive as economically as possible during their daily work. Therefore it enables the best drivers to make fuel savings of up to 15 percent for their company, and also reduce wear. In the world championship, the best national teams from 19 countries will compete against each other. Each national team consists of the eleven best truckers from each country. The world championship qualification phase comes to an end on 27 May 2018. After the placing in the last 16, the quarter-final and semi-final, Fleetboard will announce the winner at the end of July. Fleetboard will hold a reception for the world championship team and the winners of the German and fleet rankings at the 2018 International Commercial Vehicle Show (IAA) in Hanover.
