Leinfelden-Echterdingen - The tragic loss of Jochen Goetz, who died suddenly and unexpectedly on August 5, 2023, leaves the company and its employees dismayed. The large number of expressions of grief and condolence underlines how closely the former CFO of Daimler Truck was associated with the company, its employees, and partners.

Nevertheless, Daimler Truck must look forward. Therefore, the Supervisory Board has decided to immediately start the search for a successor for the finance position in the executive Board. For this purpose, a renowned human resources consulting agency has been assigned. In the meantime, Martin Daum, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck Holding AG, will temporarily assume the function of Chief Financial Officer of Daimler Truck Holding AG and Daimler Truck AG. Furthermore, he will ensure that he can continue to perform the function of Chairman of the Board of Management convincingly and fully as before by making internal representative arrangements within the finance department. This interim solution will be supported by a strong financial organization of the company.
