As part of the spin-off of Daimler Truck AG from Daimler AG in December 2021, the newly defined location in the greater Stuttgart area with the sub-locations Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Stuttgart-Untertürkheim and Esslingen-Brühl is workplace for approx. 4,400 employees.
The headquarters of Daimler Truck AG at the Daimler Truck Campus (DTC) and Mercedes-Benz Trucks Campus (MBTC) in Leinfelden-Echterdingen combine essential administrative areas under one roof.
Other functions, such as parts of research and development, are housed in buildings at the sites in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim and Esslingen-Brühl.
