Personnel Change: Dr. Florian Hofer will be appointed new Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at Daimler Truck 

• Florian Hofer will take over responsibility for Legal, Compliance and Corporate Audit as of July 1^st, 2023.
• He will succeed Dr. Thomas Laubert who will leave the company at his own request.

Leinfelden-Echterdingen – Personnel change at Daimler Truck Holding AG (“Daimler Truck”): Dr. Florian Hofer will take over responsibility for Legal, Compliance and Corporate Audit at Daimler Truck as of July 1st, 2023. In his new role, he will also assume the function as Human Rights Officer at Daimler Truck. Dr. Florian Hofer will succeed Dr. Thomas Laubert, who will leave the company at his own request to pursue his career at Bayer AG.

Dr. Florian Hofer studied law at the universities of Konstanz and Edinburgh and started his professional career 2007 in an international law firm in Stuttgart with focus on Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). In 2013, he joined Daimler AG as Senior Legal Counsel M&A before he became Associate General Counsel for Legal M&A and Cooperations. In this position, he played an essential role in the legal entity separation of Daimler AG into Daimler Truck AG and Mercedes-Benz AG. Subsequently, he was leading the worldwide team of the legal department responsible for sales and distribution law for Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans. In July 2021, he joined Daimler Truck as Associate General Counsel Legal and Compliance for EMEA and Latin America. In his new role at Daimler Truck, he will be responsible for the global Legal, Compliance and Corporate Audit department, heading the Sustainability Steering Committee and taking responsibility as Human Rights Officer at Daimler Truck.

Dr. Thomas Laubert, currently Chief Legal and Compliance and Human Rights Officer at Daimler Truck, will leave the company at his own request at the end of June 2023 to pursue his career at Bayer AG. He joined the Daimler Group in 2004 and held various leadership positions in the Legal organization in Germany and the U.S. He became Vice President and Group General Counsel of Daimler AG in 2016 and took over the position of Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at Daimler Truck in July 2021.
