Leinfelden-Echterdingen / Neu-Ulm / Ellwangen. OK.go Mobilitäts AG is upgrading its scheduled bus services with five new S 415 LE business buses. The Setra MultiClass vehicles – each with 48 seats on board – are being operated on behalf of the OstalbMobil transport association. The intercity buses are powered by OM 936 six-cylinder in-line engines with an output of 260 kW (353 hp) paired with ZF Ecolife 2 automatic torque converters.
OK.go was launched in September 2018 with the merger of three long-established bus companies, Mack, Schuster and Jakob. Joint owner Dominik Jakob says: "The OK part of the brand name lets our customers know that they are in safe hands. The word go represents dynamism, movement and distance".
The German company with sites in Ellwangen, Göggingen, Heubach and Durlangen also uses Setra buses for its coach services.
Amongst other things, passengers can enjoy city tours, adventures, wellness trips and day trips in Setra ComfortClass touring coaches. The bus company also runs school transport and urban transport services in Ellwangen. The Ostalb region is also breaking completely new ground with an innovative bus-on-demand service.
