Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany – Daimler Truck is proudly announcing the partnership with the Carolina Panthers team for the NFL Game-Weekend in Munich. On November 10, the NFL team from Charlotte, North Carolina, will face the New York Giants at the Allianz Arena. For the entire weekend, the focus in downtown Munich is on American football. Truck fans and American Football fans can expect a very special eye-catcher close to the Carolina Panthers Fan-Fest: Daimler Truck will be presenting a Freightliner Cascadia right on Munich's Odeonsplatz.

The US brand Freightliner has been part of the Daimler Truck portfolio for decades and primarily produces heavy-duty long-haul and vocational trucks for the North American market. The heavy-duty Freightliner Cascadia is the most popular Class 8 truck in North America, and the brand recently introduced the fifth generation of the Cascadia. The Cascadia, which is resplendent in matte black and blue in Munich, is a rare vehicle on German roads. The vehicle serves as a test vehicle for Daimler Truck in Germany and was spruced up for its first visit to the Bavarian capital on the occasion of the NFL Munich Game 2024. With its size of four meters in height and 2.5 meters in width, as well as the long hood and three axles typical for the North American market, the Cascadia is an eye-catcher. The truck has an especially large and high cab (“sleeper cab”) with a separated sleeping area for the driver.

Daimler Truck North America and the Carolina Panthers

Daimler Truck North America (“DTNA”), the US subsidiary of Daimler Truck, has been a sponsoring partner of the Carolina Panthers since 2017 and will continue to support the American football team from Charlotte in North Carolina during this NFL season. In June of this year, a delegation from the Carolina Panthers visited the Daimler Truck headquarters in Leinfelden-Echterdingen near Stuttgart.
