Leinfelden-Echterdingen / Neu-Ulm / Nordhorn. Anniversary celebration with a new Setra. Richters-Reisen GmbH from Nordhorn took delivery of an S 515 HD on the occasion of its 90th anniversary. The touring coach from the facelifted ComfortClass generation is mainly used for study trips, cycling trips with trailer and rental operation. The 45-seater is equipped with a 360^o camera and has a number of exclusive assistance systems on board – including Active Brake Assist 5 – to ensure the greatest possible levels of safety for passengers and drivers. As a world first for buses and touring coaches, the emergency braking system can perform automated full-stop braking in reaction to both moving and stationary pedestrians at speeds up to 50 km/h.

The touring coach is powered by an OM 470 in-line six-cylinder engine rated at 315 kW (428 hp) in conjunction with the fully automated GO 250–8 MPS 8-speed manual transmission (Powershift).

The company from Lower Saxony was established in 1933 by married couple Josef and Josefa Richters. The company purchased its first new Setra touring coach around 25 years ago. The fourth-generation family business currently boasts nine Setra touring coaches and intercity buses in its fleet.
