With the arrival of its first Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, Dutch logistics company Dobbe Transport is marking another milestone on its path toward electrifying its fleet. The battery-electric long haul truck from Mercedes-Benz Trucks will primarily be used for general cargo transport within the Benelux countries.

Groundbreaking in Rome: Daimler Buses builds new service center

Daimler Buses has begun construction of a new service center in the Rome metropolitan area. The facility in Fiano Romano, located about 40 kilometers north of Rome, is scheduled to take over maintenance and service work for Mercedes‑Benz and Setra buses starting in early 2027.

Daimler Truck Supervisory Board appoints Yvonne Bettkober to the Board of Management – Jürgen Hartwig leaves the company after more than 30 years

The Supervisory Board of Daimler Truck Holding AG has appointed Yvonne Bettkober as a new Member of the Board of Management, effective October 1, 2026. She will assume responsibility for Human Resources across the Daimler Truck Group and as Labor Director. Her initial term extends until September 30, 2029. Bettkober joins the company from Audi AG, where she most recently served as Chief Transformation Officer.
