The Daimler Truck Group (“Daimler Truck”) today completed the integration of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (”Mitsubishi Fuso”) into the newly established holding company ARCHION Corporation (“ARCHION”). ARCHION has been listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market as of today, April 1, 2026, and begins business operations, integrating Mitsubishi Fuso and Hino Motors Ltd. (“Hino”), subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation (“Toyota”).

Mercedes Benz Trucks is continuing to systematically strengthen the future viability of its European production network. The plant in Wörth am Rhein, Germany, (state of Rhineland-Palatinate) is—and will remain—the lead and largest volume plant within the network. The company plans to expand the existing network in the future by adding a vehicle assembly and manufacturing site in Cheb (Karlovarský/Karlsbad region), Czech Republic.

Daimler Truck AG (Daimler Truck), the Volvo Group (Volvo), cellcentric and Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) have signed a non-binding agreement to cooperate in the fuel cell system joint venture cellcentric. The three companies intend to collaborate based on an equal shareholding with Toyota as the third joint venture partner to cellcentric.

Marcus Ekman will succeed Rainer Müller-Finkeldei (56) who has decided to retire end of July 2026 after more than three decades within Daimler AG and Daimler Truck AG.

Mercedes-Benz eArocs 400: Battery Electric construction truck available to order starting in April

Mercedes Benz Trucks will begin sales of its new battery electric eArocs 400 in April, expanding its electric portfolio to include the construction segment. The locally CO₂e free and low noise electric truck celebrated its world premiere last year at bauma in Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for construction and building materials machinery, mining equipment and construction vehicles.
